Bio

My name is Andrea Weems Abernathy.  This is my 20th year teaching in the Oxford City School System.  I was born and raised an Oxford Yellow Jacket.  I am married to my high school sweetheart, Clyde Abernathy on June 6, 1998.  We have two wonderful daughters, Ashlynn Elizabeth and Anna Dial.  Ashlynn is in the 10th grade at Oxford High School and Anna is in the 8th grade at Oxford Middle School.  My family is a very important part of my life, along with my Lord and Savior, which will always come first. Without him, I wouldn't have all of the above.

In my free time (which I rarely have), I like to swim, play tennis and read.  My children are very involved in activities so they keep me busy.

Mu oldest daughter Ashlynn has a horse and chickens.  Therefore, most of her free time is spent taking care of and riding her horse.  We love to spend time on the farm.

My youngest daughter, Anna is an OMS cheerleader.  We love Oxford Yellow Jacket and Auburn Tiger football.  Therefore, when we are not at the field to watch Anna cheer, we are there to support our favorite teams and players.

My family and I attend Hill Crest Baptist Church where my husband teaches a young married Sunday School Class.
