Mrs. Henderson also sponsors our Mu Alpha Theta Chapter. Through Jacksonville State University, Deedee Henderson completed her Bachelor's, Master's, and Educational Specialist Degrees in Secondary Mathematics Education. Also, she obtained National Board Certification in the area of Secondary Mathematics in 2004.

Mrs. Henderson is married to Dave Henderson and has three sons. Although she is passionate about her calling to teach mathematics and encourages students to persue learning, she has many interest outside of school. Deedee enjoys running, hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities which she encourages her students to try.

A quote from Rene Descartes (one of Mrs. Henderson's favorite mathematicians), "It is not enough to have a good mind, the main thing is to use it well", is a quote she shares with her students. Mrs. Henderson truly wants her students to see the beauty, power, and relevance of learning mathematis.
