Considering the gravity that lies with individual success on the AHSGE, it is imperative for those students in remediation classes to receive full benefit of time and resources.  With that said; we are requiring that all students assigned to remediation classes attend and cooperate fully with their assigned teacher.  Any student opting out of remediation classes, skipping remediation classes, or not participating as directed by the teacher will receive the following corrective actions:

1^st offense - one week suspension from all after school activities

2^nd offense - one month suspension from all after school activities

3^rd offense - suspended from all after school activities for remainder of school  

year

This includes practices, contest, and all school-sponsored events outside of the

regular school day.

All remediation teachers will send students in violation of this directive to an administrator with documentation of offense.
