Assistant Principal

I am so excited to be a part of the Oxford High School family again this year!  I am beginning my 18th year in education, and my 7th year in Oxford City Schools. I hold both a Bachelor of Science in Education (Elementary Education) and a Master of Science in Education (Educational Administration) from Jacksonville State University.  I began my career as classroom teacher in 4th grade at Ohatchee Elementary for two years, and then in 3rd and 4th grades at Mt. Zion Elementary School (Carroll County, Georgia) for six years. After completing my Master's degree, I became the Curriculum Specialist for Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School in Villa Rica, Georgia.  I then had the privilege of becoming a district-wide Instructional Coach for Carroll County Schools.  I came to Oxford City Schools as an Assistant Principal at C. E. Hanna in 2011. This is my 3rd year as an Assistant Principal at OHS.

My husband Paul (OHS Class of '92) and I live in Oxford with our three children.  Hannah (OHS Class of '15) is a Junior at JSU; Parker is a Sophomore here at OHS, where he plays football, wrestles (STATE CHAMPS!)  and is on the track team;  and Marleigh Claire is in 2nd grade at OES.   I love shopping, coffee and football, and I absolutely enjoy cheering on OHS students at their many extracurricular events.

 Go Big O!
